  • The output of the river is 120000 cubic feet a second. This isn't California. There is still plenty of water in the river. This isn't even the Lowest recorded flow. Plus 30% of the flow goes down the atchafalaya river.

  • John Bel Edwards, Has put a great amount of care. 2 issues though: 1, the state Senate and 2, other states. Louisiana is " the asshole of the US" in a very literal sense. As a result we have to deal with the pollution from over 100 million people in 19 states directly. Policy under Edwards has been rather pro protection of the bayou. That's all Louisiana can do. Louisiana doesn't emit a lot of emissions, and Louisianas main export isn't even oil any more, its soybeans. Blaming Louisiana for climate change is like blaming the kid being bullied for the bullies.

  • India is a very diverse country. Unfortunately history has shown that a unified India never has lasted. This is an issue that faces many countries and frankly this simple division is what causes problems. If you could find a way to unite people in stronger way than religionist actions you can for a party around it unfortunately iirc India historically has had terrorist groups what where more left leaning.
