  • That's great news, I'm really digging the slow downfall.

  • I don’t get why most comments here are so negative

Because I loved it and I don't love it for some time now. Their experiment has brought me something I strongly dislike.

if GNOME no longer fits your needs, you can always switch to another desktop

And I did, but the squeaky wheel still gets the shit.

  • Yeah, I either use Ecosia or DuckDuckGo these days. Ecosia is ok if you carefully craft your query.

  • If a new window doesn’t fit (e.g. because it wants to be maximized) it moves to its own workspace.

The worst possible thing, as expected from Gnome by now. That's why I still use Unity7.

  • The good thing is, I really don't care. Lemmy/Jerboa catapulted me from feeling bad for people staying on enshittified reddit to not thinking about them at all.

  • I am noticing your post, but I file it as part of the "anecdotal generalizations" trend

  • Well, lemmy in general needs content. A lot of content is news and having bots post the news is not different from hooking up an rss feed to fill the feed. It's not the bots that are the problem, it's motivations of those who program them. Are the bots shilling a service/product/viewpoint?

  • Thanks, dude, that worked.

  • It works in browser, but Jerboa won't show subscribed for me?
