  • ActiBlizz haven't made anything I've been interested in for some time. MS got some amazingly shitty games out of Bethesda tho, Redfall and Starfield are just case studies in despising your audience.

  • I also like Jerboa, but Liftoff can be logged in on several instances at once, which is nice.

  • Popular actors in cyberpunk 2077 are the worst part of it IMO, I'd much rather have those characters sport a face I haven't seen a thousand times.

  • And there's like 300 of them. With Steam, I had to buy my way into a Buridan's donkey position where I don't play anything because I have too much. My man Sweeney made me jaded for free.

  • Also, why the hell do they own bandcamp, lol.

Because a gaming company with a successful battle royale is like a mule with a spinning wheel or something.

  • I might be jaded, but I'd wager that whoever buys it, is going to be worse than having Epic as a rich daddy who is focused on and making money through his core business and doesn't really know what to do with Bandcamp. Entities that buy it are almost certainly going to squeeze harder at the expense of user experience.

  • Don’t shove us all under the same rug. I packed my bags, shred my old comments and posts and went into the Fediverse.

    There's dozens of us. DOZENS!

  • Don't see why they couldn't just spew iterative inclusive designs over the 2D one, this is kind of badly animated and has a 00s vibe to the concept. The disco ball-skinned and spiky mohawk examples are downright repulsive designs

  • This looks exactly like the tepid diarrhea I expected for 200 million dollars from 500 developers. It's a miracle how everything MS touches becomes tainted, if someone told me that Arcane would be offering Redfall, I'd have refused to believe it.

  • Deleted my account, but I installed a firefox extension that forces every reddit link through the old.reddit interface and it's okay for lurking it.

  • I don't upgrade Ubuntu, just unmount home, tar the configs for reference and install the new one. I've lost more time in the past to hunting gremlins on an upgrade than doing a clean install and applying my configs.

  • A much better option than putting it behind discord wall.

  • I like Flatpak and despise Snap (on a personal computer, it's tolerable on a server) enough to sudo apt remove and purge snapd from a new installation. The startup time is slow and I hate having snaps as mountpoints. It doesn't help that Firefox is by default a Snap on Ubuntu - it feels as if you're starting it on a mechanical HD with a Core2Duo processor and you can really appreciate how stupid having such a core app as a browser is as Snap when you add the PPA and install it as a deb package. Don't even get me started on the asinine "we update when we want to" that makes you restart your browser at most inopportune times. I hate Snap so much it's unreal.

  • They hated you because you told them the truth. Haven't played ME3, pretty much solely because the ending of 2 with the ::: spoiler spoiler giant skeleton fight ::: was so abysmally stupid.

  • Braćo Hrvati

  • That doubling rate is worrying
