  • They definitely do but let's not kill their optimism.

  • The commenter said "killing for pleasure" and that is what I was responding to. There are hunting and fishing competitions, there are hunting trips rich people take in Africa, let's not forget people who hunt in areas with no regulation because of how secluded it is and how hard it would be to catch them, and as an added bonus even if we are limited time to only hunting, worldwide, for population control some people will still find pleasure in it. It's not going away in 20 years.

  • Not choosing a side is the same as choosing the aggressor's side. If you can't see that I'm glad you're not in charge of foreign policy. This isn't some disagreement between nations.

  • Is there a single country on this planet that has even brought it up? Hunting and fishing aren't going away in the lifetime of someone born today m8 I'm sorry.

  • If you like the office they have the superfan episodes which I've really enjoyed. Other than that they try to make new content but it hasn't really drawn my attention other than Cocaine Bear and the Twisted Metal moving coming in a littler over a week. It's not great but if you get it for a month and watch everything you want I'm sure your $12 will be well spent.

  • Pretty ironic you calling someone else snarky.

  • Also, it turns out sushi people are just eating raw fish because they are pretentious and not because it taste better raw.

A little column A and a little column B. Some fish I don't like raw and some I don't like cooked.

  • I think it depends on the mobile device you use. I've read that proton is better on iPhone and bitwarden doesn't integrate that well with it but it's seamless on android. I also haven't had any issues with bitwarden and Firefox and they've been my combo since I started using bitwarden a couple years ago. I haven't given proton pass a full on try yet though and I pay both companies for their awesome services so I'm a bit of a shill for both. I don't think you can make a bad choice here.

  • Mostly. Sometimes it'll catch something ublock missed though so not pointlessly redundant.

  • If blocking a website on government devices/networks is a violation of free speech why are you just now sounding the alarm? Why didn't you sound the alarm when I wasn't allowed to browse reddit on my government laptop? The government blocking access on personal devices/networks is a violation, blocking access on government networks/devices is business as usual.

  • For not being a US citizen you have a better grasp on our free speech laws than the professors suing Texas. First I want to state fuck Greg Abbott. Now with that being said, it's not a violation of free speech for the government to block a website on government devices/networks. There are already a huge number of websites that are blocked. I can understand the arguments against doing it but it's not a violation of free speech just because they don't block Facebook too.

  • Oh god I forgot about xanga. I got in so much trouble because I posted stupid shit my friends and I were doing there. Fortunately I didn't implicate them.

  • You're trying to apply logic to an illogical person. That's where we went wrong in 2016.

  • HDD is still the superior way to store data compared to ssd's. Ssd's are great for accessing your data fast but for people who have a lot of data they don't access regularly the reliability and price of an HDD is unbeatable.

  • The first thing I turn off for any app is push notifications.

You clearly know there is a solution to your problem but you still want to take the ability away from people who want it? Weird.

  • So an American school doesn't block an American website that American intelligence agencies have access to and you're wondering why they wouldn't allow a Chinese website that Chinese intelligence agencies probably have access to? I completely agree that Meta and Twitter and all that are horrible for security but it's still relevant who houses that data. I choose not to use any of them but it's completely understandable why a country would hesitate to trust a foreign nation we have no relevant triety with.

  • M8 one more time: it is not about stopping students from using tiktok, it is about preventing tiktok from being accessed on the school network. No one cares if you turn off wifi and go on tiktok, that is literally what they want you to do if you wish to access it.
