  • I guess it processes scraped data from whatever beans you ask it to brew.

I don't own a Fellow Aiden, but I asked ChatGPT the following:

what's the best way to brew 100% togolese washed

Which is a bag of grounds that I picked up at Grocery Outlet last week

    and it came back with:

Here's a precision-engineered pour-over recipe tailored for 100% Togolese washed coffee, designed for the Fellow Aiden brewer. This profile emphasizes the coffee's bright acidity, floral and citrus notes, and medium body.

    Title: Togolese Clarity

    Core Brew Settings:

        Ratio: 16.5

        Bloom Ratio: 2.5

        Bloom Time: 45 seconds

        Bloom Temperature: 94°C
        THE KOPI LUWAK (LUWAK COFFEE)

    Single Serve Pulse Settings:

        Number of Pulses: 3

        Time Between Pulses: 20 seconds

        Pulse Temperatures: 95°C, 93°C, 91°C

        Grind Settings:

            Ode Gen2: 4.2

            Opus: 5.2

            Ode+SSP: 3.2

            Microns: ~750μm

    Batch Brew Pulse Settings:

        Number of Pulses: 4

        Time Between Pulses: 30 seconds

        Pulse Temperatures: 94°C, 92°C, 90°C, 90°C

        Grind Settings:

            Ode Gen2: 6.2

            Opus: 7.2

            Ode+SSP: 6.0

            Microns: ~950μm
acoffeeseoul.com+11Wikipedia+11Coffee Is My Fuel For The Day!+11

    Explanation:

Ratio & Bloom: A 16.5:1 ratio balances strength and clarity, while a 2.5 bloom ratio with a 45-second bloom time at 94°C helps highlight the coffee's bright acidity and floral notes.

Pulse Strategy: The step-down pulse temperatures (95°C to 91°C) in single serve and (94°C to 90°C) in batch brew prevent over-extraction, preserving the coffee's delicate flavors.

Grind Settings: Medium-fine grind sizes (~750μm for single serve and ~950μm for batch) are optimal for washed coffees, ensuring even extraction and clarity.

Would you like to generate a brew.link for this recipe?

Of course, I said yes, and it asked to be connected to a pre-created ChatGPT prompt, "brew-link-generator" which must be the coding part to generate instructions for the brewer's API.

However that works, because as I said before I don't have a Fellow Aiden.

  • I do recognize that my classic plastic Aeropress loses a lot of temperature in its brewing process, and that is what got me started on pre-warming my mug.

I don't like a lukewarm cup of coffee. About 160F at serving time is good for me.

  • /r/keurig is filled with "My Keurig brewer stopped working" posts, and there's no way to fix these things.

At best, Keurig ships a whole new appliance, and the old one goes into landfill.

The new one breaks in a couple of months as well, and joins the old one in the city dump.

    What a waste.

  • Another thing to consider is how bulky your coffee gadgets are.

I don't have space for a dedicated drip brewer.

I had an opportunity to buy a siphon brewer from a thrift store, but I decided against it, because I have nowhere to store a large delicate glass thing.

  • If you're a mod, you can lock the un-needed /c or restrict posts to mods-only, update the name to say something like (deprecated), add a post with a link to the active /c, etc. to direct anyone who comes across the unneeded /c.

  • I use 3 coffee brewers in rotation.

All 3 brewes are quick and easy because I have a hot water pot that keeps some water at 195F/90.5C, and can get up to boiling 212F/100C in a couple of minutes.

I think this is the most critical part for me trying to get out the door to work in the morning, because who likes to wait for water to boil?

    1. French press - Cheap and easy to find: Usually brew 4 minutes, but that can vary with the beans.
    2. Aeropress - So quick and satisfying to use. Brews nice and smooth compared to my French press, but I like both brews. Some recipes call for brewing as little as 10 seconds, so it's even quicker than the French press.
    3. Cucumella - Italian flip over coffee brewer makes a smaller, but stronger cup, about 2 minutes for all the water to drip through the grounds in my tiny 1-2 cups device

I also have a Baratza Encore grinder, but I think store bought grounds are just fine.

  • I grind a week's worth of grounds at a time in my Baratza Encore.

I have a small disposable brush whose handle I have bent to reach into the chute and sweep out the clinging clumps of grounds.

Spritzing the beans, or at least dipping my fingers into water and swirling them around in the whole beans before grinding doesn't seem to help.

  • Feature a game or utility or OS of the day/week, with commentary on it?

To set the flavor of what you want in the /c, subject to change, pending what the contributors actually want instead...

  • Depending on what you define as "massive"...

The networked storage services: Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft OneDrive offer free storage on virtual hard drives after you install their respective programs.

The amount that's free is limited: OneDrive 5GB, Dropbox 2GB, Google Drive is weird 15GB across all of Gmail, Photos, Drive, and device backup. You can see your Google storage here https://one.google.com/storage

  • First of all, I'd recommend that you don't do that if the creators are still active.

The small timers/indies NSFW creators, especially selling the ones selling their stuff indirectly on Gumroad, have a tough time making a living and creating content without having to battle their own pirated material.

If you enjoy their content from your favorite indie creators, and want to see more from them, please financially support and promote them.

If you do upload some indie content, limit your uploading to 1 or 2 pieces, as opposed to entire siterips, please credit the creators, include links to their content, and encourage downloaders to support the creators.

On the other hand, if the creators have retired or gone out of business, go for it!

I guess find a general torrent site, or appropriate specialty torrent site. That or upload to an infested downloading site and post that address in one of those forums where those infested download site links get posted? Yeah I know, use JDownloader...

Most general torrent sites have NSFW/XXX content.

You can also upload the content to archive.org. It will quickly be flagged as NSFW and excluded from searches, but at least it'll be archived. You can post direct links to your uploads there in appropriate forums and other communities.
