  • I stated playing battlebit and I don’t even consider bothering with mainstream titles anymore. This release is garbage, the last 5 releases have just been progressively worse and worse, like hey even bother?

It feels like I have more fun in 1 game of battlebit than I did over the entirety of my 200+ hours of BO2, which was the last mainstream shooter I played that didn’t feel entirely like a waste of money.

  • WAY more substantial, let’s be real here. I stopped playing for a couple years and when I came back it was practically a whole new game.

And then that same thing happened no fewer than two more times.

Every “final” update has felt fair, they’ve already added so much, and then there’s still more.

  • I’ve seen early access games that go their entire dev cycle without adding real-cash shops. this pervasive idea that microtransactions are just an acceptable thing in any new game has me absolutely incredulated.

it doesn’t matter how long it takes to develop, putting a cash shop in an unfinished game is a bad move optics wise.

  • hey ditto! i have very little patience for the worst among you, because when i look through comment sections looking for discourse i instead see you fuckers starting the same 5 arguments.

also, coincidentally, i see a lot of folks from marginalized groups specifically complaining about y’all being insensitive and shitty. it’s hard to respect what you say your motives are when your camp is acting like it is.

  • In my experience, strays usually act like that when they’ve got a litter stowed somewhere nearby. We got our most recent rescue from a similar situation; an unusually aggressive cat started hassling folks in the area. Once we got her and the kittens moved into a safer place she started to warm up to us, but it was a long process with a lot of bites.

She is now happily domesticated lol
