    Hmm...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Grayzone#Reporting_and_reception

The Grayzone's news content is generally considered to be fringe,[16][2][17][18] and the website maintains a pro-Kremlin editorial line,[26][49] centered around an opposition to the foreign policy of the United States and a desire for a multipolar world.[2] The site has been criticized for defending Russia and other authoritarian regimes.[2][20][39][42][50] In Reorienting Hong Kong's Resistance: Leftism, Decoloniality, and Internationalism, The Grayzone was described as "known for misleading reporting in the service of authoritarian states".[25] Nerma Jelacic, writing in the Index on Censorship, described The Grayzone as "a Kremlin-connected online outlet that pushes pro-Russian conspiracy theories and genocide denial."[51] In 2019, The Grayzone had claimed the Commission for International Justice and Accountability, of which Jelacic is a director, collaborated with ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra affiliates.[51]

I'm gonna assume the headline is a lie.

  • I'm convinced the whole "your computer will instantly turn into a botnet that cripples children's hospitals the moment you disable Windows Update" thing is part of Microsoft's internet propaganda.

Like there are sysadmins for pretty big industries that schedule updates, sometimes once a month or even less frequently. Why aren't they worried about all the 0-day remote code execution exploits that supposedly exist every single day?

  • frequently stopping young people on the streets to inspect their phones and review text messages for banned language

I'm really tired of people saying "both sides are the same" when it comes to western capitalist exploitation vs eastern totalitarian authoritarianism.

It's ironically so privileged to even make the comparison because if it were the same, you wouldn't have been allowed to make this comment.

  • "suggesting that NATO expansion was one of the causes of the war"

    “We gave Putin just cause,”

Those are definitely Russian propaganda talking points.

This is how they get us. Infiltrate the groups that we already agree with, like pro-Palestine, anti-Israel, then flood those communities with "...and also we should all hate NATO!", and people like this guy can't tell the difference.
