  • Yep, that's the one, I think there were even more cases like last week or something.

Still better to do what the OP did though. If you want to hug the oversized rodents, make sure that there’s people taking care of them, and ensuring that they’re OK.

Yeah, 100%. Being taken care they seem to be super chill and safe to interact with.

  • It's actually quite risky. Some people died last month in Brazil because of the disease that's is transmitted by these ticks (Rocky Mountain spotted fever if I got it right from google, febre maculosa in Portuguese).

  • I think OP wants to aggregate certain topics on the same feed. For example, there are a couple of technology communities across different instances, with a custom feed you could have everything in one place.

It kinda works on the subscribed feed, but you just have everything instead of specific topics.

  • Set it to hide read posts on lemmy settings. You'll have to login the web browser or use another app that can change lemmy settings (jerboa and connect are the ones I know can change it), sync doesn't have this setting, at least for now.

  • I think only the admins of the instance and mods of the community (and you) can delete your comment. Afaik your comment is only cached on other instances.

Reports go for admins and mods I think too https://lemmy.cloudaf.site/post/59357

Anyone can create a community. From the looks of it, sync doesn't support it yet(?). But if you go to your instance on your browser you can create it from there on the top right settings.
