Well China just hacked away at billions in profits from game Dev companies so I disagree with this statement in the context of China and the video game industry.
Yeah but that was more of a "if we can't beat 'em, join 'em" thing and I believe some, if not most of the modders don't even use the official mappings and prefer the cracked version
Pay to win ruined everything... I remember when I discovered I could purchase all the godly gear (diablo ii LoD) I wanted for like $10USD back as a kid.
It really made me reevaluate how much time I've been putting into the game to grind out my character. It took a lot of the pleasure and meaning out of all the time and energy I had put in.
Now... Diablo II was not designed for this... This was against the Blizzard terms.... But still applies.
All this pay to win stuff on video games is terrible and really evil. Loot boxes are like putting slot machines on children's playgrounds...
So then if the child uses a VPN can the VPN be sued?
