I remember seeing this documentary on a home invader or something and one of his "skills" was he would go to the shoreline and practice sprinting, as in sprinting away from the cops. It makes me wonder if this would be like the game prey, where you have knowledge you can copy but some of the knowledge is physical.

For instance, lifting heavy things is a knowledge pack called "leverage" because obviously you can't learn their physical strength, but you can learn their best practices for lifting, and thus lift heavier things

IDK, I think stealing material possessions isn't in the spirit of it, I feel like it has to be mental knowledge. I came up with this while working on a painting and, being a painter, I obviously always look at other artists and wish I had their skills, I guess my ADHD brain led me to going down this rabbit hole of "what if?"

Yes, specifically SSRI's, I'm currently on them and while you will trip, it won't be traditional, you'll mostly get the mental effects while missing out on the visual effects

I feel ya brother, I have ADHD too and my memory is shit, you should be good to do some psychedelics, permanent damage usually doesn't happen unless you take entirely too much or you try something like taking some every day, you need to let your brain and psyche rest.

Holy fuck, this is one thing I don't miss about reddit, people are so willy nilly with the down votes and don't even explain why, I had to go back recently to ask a jewelery subreddit about information on buying something and my post and every comment got bombed even though I was being polite AF. On Lemmy, people will argue with you sure, but rarely will you just find you've got zero on your post unless you were outwardly being an ass
