I love to ask them why China is an outlier in this regard.

The admission that people are rejecting capitalism is really the only interesting part of the whole thing, the rest is just capitalist dogma being regurgitated.

Although, the fact that they don't really nave any solutions is itself an indication that the system is headed for collapse.

I expect that once western system crumbles then capitalism will be seen as a discredited system around the world. Most countries are already starting to question the merits of the western style system, and that trend will only increase going forward. Meanwhile, China shows a clear viable alternative that more and more countries are likely to emulate.

You don't have to ignore anything, China has an actual concrete plan for transition off fossil fuels. Initial stages still require coal to produce power to build out the infrastructure. A study in the second link found that China's use of coal is perfectly in line with the plan in the first link.

For sure, Churchill makes libs really uncomfortable because the atrocities he's responsible for are just so extensive and well documented that it's impossible to dismiss. And if such a deplorable sack of shit is a cultural icon in the west that really says a lot about western society as a whole.

That's almost certainly going to be the narrative going forward. They'll tell us that Putin's actual plan was to invade Poland, and if there's any rump state left in western Ukraine that's proof that NATO succeeded to thwart Russia.

In addition, there's a new interview with Zaluzhny in The Economist where he basically says that Ukraine would need a whole new army to win the war.
