TwentyNine Palms is not known for its low crime rate. If you dodge a mugging you will go down to the drunk Marine looking to start something.

It’s like what Disney+ did during lockdown. I believe you had to have the subscription to then gain the privilege of paying another $20 for a movie. Still cheaper than going to the movies for a family though.

I actually do trust them to find out how, and how is by charging the same as about 3 movie tickets.

Here is a politico article. About 900 Air Force Controllers were put to work in civilian towers, along with the 3000 supervisors around the country and 2000 non-striking controllers. The article fails to mention Reagan reversed his lifetime ban a few months later and began rehiring controllers.

I think that may play into Starfield 2’s favor. If properly advertised it could reignite the hype for the first game… if it delivered.

Just based on Wikipedia, many commercial failure video games have a sequel made much later on, or have their IP used in a remake or reimagining. Psychonauts is the one I remember since I like the sequel.

I think they will make a Starfield 2 eventually. But most likely in closer to 15-20 years with a fresh set of developers.

To my knowledge, interfering with the healing factor only works while actively interfering it, and if you stop at any point Logan is able to come back essentially post mortem. In some books it is so powerful that he essentially stopped aging when he acquired the healing factor secondary mutation. In the movies, he still ages but much slower, and eventually his body begins to reject the adamantium in his skeleton and his healing factor cannot heal fast enough, leading to his (kinda) death.

At least in wolverines case, he isn’t truly, fully, immortal. His healing factor eventually slows to the point he gets old and dies. In the case if true immortality like Mr. Immortal, it is most likely part of the power that gives them immortality to also keep the body roughly the same, i.e in working order. Mentally they all probably go insane after a few hundred or thousand years, but the comics do not cover such large periods or accurately reflect the mental state.

Guns used to not be banned and there were a lot less school shootings. Every boomer and gen X you talk to will tell about when kids kept their rifles in the truck to go hunting after classes.

The recent push came from Covid when many people could not take the tests, and then it stuck around after since administrators wanted to focus on your “well-roundedness” and not high test scores.

This is true for nearly every state, from deep red to deep blue. It is not a party issue but a stupid policy that intended for teachers and faculty to work harder to teach students.
