Since they are all for sale to the highest bidder then no.

The fact is, those of us outside of larger cities, we don’t have a lot of options much of the time. There is no small business hardware store here. Not anymore.

All that money goes to shareholders in the private businesses which are used as contractors in the public school system. Just as with healthcare where Americans pay up to three times as much per capita compared to countries with universal healthcare, it all goes into the pockets of middlemen as profit.

In other comparable countries this doesn't happen because they aren't relying on private contractors, instead they have more money actually going to education than the US.

As someone living in the EU where incandescent bulbs have been banned for over a decade, I can assure you that changing lightbulbs is still a thing. Not as frequently, but it happens, especially if you buy cheaper brands LED bulbs. They definitely does not have the longevity that they advertise.

Oh yeah, although their pool of marks which they can scam is dwindling after more and more people are becoming familiar with them. Which is why they have to resort to this kind of nonsense to continue their scam.

This is the opposite of religious freedom since it imposes one religion unto everyone else.
