hexbear and other tankies are very atypical lefties. They are a tiny minority and not at all representative of "lefties" in general.

It is very US specific. There are other countries where ios have a majority market share, but in most countries the majority market share is android.

Companies can easily still make a profit on the vast majority of people who will uncritically consume.
