  • Ugh, adobe amirite

  • Just built a server and a PC and they were fine. I had a couple of delivery issues and they sent replacements no questions asked. Even ended up with an extra 4 TB HDD because UPS fucked up, they sent me another, then UPS came by with the original.

Only issue now is a backordered SSD that they keep pushing the release date back on, but $180 for a 2TB nvme pcie Gen5 x4 ssd is worth the wait, I think.

  • Check out smart tube beta if you can hook a Chromecast or similar up

  • Glad to see some fellow 86 homies!

I actually have a lil (big) tuxedo cat named Toyota Trueno Hachi Roku Apex GT, or just Hachi, for short.

  • Scion FR-S

It's just so fun and pretty

  • Used to have the 2000 version. Amazing trucks, really.

  • Start Self hosting. Keeping my data at home is how I'm sticking it to the man these days.

  • Try not to shave against the grain, and use soap or shaving cream, or that shit will hurt.

  • Ah yes, the peaceful and bloodbath free British empire.

  • I feel like you don't and that's the reason for pinepods existence. You use pinepods and not antennapod.

    Unless I'm misunderstanding?

  • Lol they still have persistence in the network too, afaik

  • Lol my dad left me everything he had when he died. So, I got a truck.

When my mom goes, my sister and I might get to split a house we don't want that's on its third or fourth refinancing.

I guess if your parents don't have an inheritance to give you just never consider not getting one to be a problem.

  • Thanks! Sounds like a significant learning curve.

Not that I'm opposed. Currently reskilling myself from bored accountant to hopefully some sort of IT wizard. Just learning everything I can get my hands on and doing projects like building / maintaining a home server, building a PC, switched to Linux last year, and coding some small projects in Python.

I just feel like I'm learning such basic things and won't be able to actually make money with any of this for years. It's frustrating lol

  • Whatever is fun and makes money. Tired of being bored and broke all the time.

  • Make people leave a review before they're allowed to view a review. Or, something along those lines. A few reviews for free, then you gotta contribute

  • Crazy how they can spend nearly the whole year offering "discounts". Its almost like they mark them up way more than they need to on purpose so they can pretend they're giving us a deal the rest of the time.
