  • The problem is the NIMBYISM and the financiers. One doesn't want them near them, and the others want them in the USA where they have retrofitted 10 refineries for our oil.

Every province should have refineries and oil shipped from coast to coast to coast, and Nat Gas. Use the royalty money to better Canada as Norway does for its citizens and then start using the money to wean ourselves off petroleum.

  • What a shit stained liar that fat fuck is. He's lost his marbles, just because someone doesn't bend over and take what he is given doesn't mean they are nasty or the deal is one sided. America needs to wake the fuck up and fix their shit.

Canada needs to find new countries to trade with, improve whatever deals we already have and look to bring resource development/finishing into this country.

We need to stop thinking just about the US as our business partner that we feed. Germany has a high education level and cost of living and they are an engineering powerhouse. Same with South Korea Japan etc.

Now due to corporations want to save 10¢ on a pair of pants and they talked the government of the day into free trade, so they moved manufacturing offshore and guess what, yeah those shitty (according to some) manufacturing jobs just kept leaving, rust out the manufacturing ability of the US. Now it is coming back to haunt them.

So the orange Cheeto is now pissed as he would rather exploit the workers in the US which is fine but look into your own navel as it is America tha is sucking hind tit at being a capitalist country, all they want to do is continue to rob from the American people as much as possible.

America get your house in order. Stop treating allies like shit. We can repair this relationship but not unless real change is made in the US.

  • Not sure how I see this as a benefit to Australia, unless they are looking at it the same way the Chinese were, if they invest in the Arctic even in Canada then they have a stake in the Northern Passage discussions, even though their border doesn't actually touch the Arctic.

  • Well it looks like more people need to be screwed over, I guess maybe after it affects enough "Me's" it'll probably stay the same. The amount of damage that will be done before the American people stand up will be immense.

I honestly cannot believe that the average American is in agreement with this and that they think holding signs up will do anything. Sorry but they say violence is never the right course of action, but I think in this case you might need to see if that well regulated militia is ready to defend your freedom.

And shame on the Democratic party for just rolling over.

  • Agreed, I am not aware of a NAFTA work Visa, I was rejected once on a Visa as the border guards felt it was the wrong one for the task I was going down for. I've had 3 Visas and they were all US nothing to do with NAFTA.

That being said, maybe there is one.

  • What does he call it when Tesla and Musk steal $43 million from the Canadian government in grants for EVs, they did that last weekend where it appeared that Tesla was selling a vehicle every 2 minutes to take advantage of an incentive plan for people buying EVs..

I hope the Canadian government investigates and stops any payments and issues fines equal to what they stole.

By the way, they probably did something similar to steal the election in the US, the republicans sure went pretty quiet really fast.

I really think Americans need to stand up and dispose of their corrupt government.

  • Book banning is shameful and a disgrace, those who are scared of knowledge are really scared that someone will better themselves and ask questions of those doing the banning.

If your government wants to ban books ask why. Why do they want to ban books on let's say gun manufacturing. Well they don't want their citizens to have the ability to defend themselves against the government, sure they will wrap it in some other reason like saving children or stopping crime, but really they know they are not working for the people of that country, and they worry that the people will find out and come after them. In a true democracy the people would just need to vote out the politicians, but there aren't any real democracies just the illusion of democracy, which can be seen in the USA at the moment.

Knowledge is never a bad thing, some knowledge might be painful and hurtful but in the end you are better off knowing, one way or the other.

Build your own libraries of knowledge banned or otherwise, share it with people, help people understand what you are sharing and why. Use the knowledge to help and not to hate, but at least you will know what hate is and help people improve their lives by understanding who is pulling the strings.

Can you imagine that knowledge is bad 😞.

And do not think that I don't realize that there is bad knowledge being shared by evil people, but at least you can combat those people with good knowledge and be able to see who is spewing that knowledge, and then call them out for it.

    Ramble complete.
