They didn't leave, go visit a graveyard and look at the dates.
My wife's dad died in 2019 and they got him a nice plot that was pretty secluded. The cemetery filled up and all the graves around him are 2020-2022, COVID killed a lot of people 🥲
Fr stop producing c-tier content for millions of dollars and just pay for better content and/or make it cheaper. I don't need 14 generic action movies starring Ryan Reynolds and dozens of forgettable shows.
Are you in the US? What was the allergy testing like? How much did it cost?
I've had just the worst GI issues this last year or two and tried tweaking my diet and got no results. I asked my doctor and she said might just be gluten/dairy intolerance. I cut those out and still consistently had issues. I gave up and ate a pizza and the next day dropped the biggest log of my life no issues.
I wanna get tested but not sure where to even start.
I'm allergic to cats but grew up with one (she lived to 21!) and my fiance has a cat and we moved in together. It's fine I just have to keep the cat away from my face and I wash my hands after petting her.
Even if I don't I just get really itchy, it's not the worst. Worth it for the pets and cuddles.
My chief complaint is performance. Some of the saas we use has some complex renders and edge really struggles with it. Works perfect in Firefox though ¯(ツ)_/¯
Awww... reminds me of my Husky, she really mellowed out in her elder years and I got a small stuffed brontosaurus toy from the shop. She treated it like a baby and would carry it around, and we'd make a game of hiding it and letting her find it.
Have you ever talked to her about it? Are you a supervisor or any sort even if she's not a direct report?
This is minor, but if it bothers you and distracts you from your work I'd say address it as feedback - "Hey, I'm usually pretty busy when you come in. You seemed upset that I don't get a chance to stop and properly greet you, but I'm focused on work at that time, let's catch up on a break/lunch"
I used to let so many of these little things go because it wasn't worth it but little things add up and can make the workplace miserable. I've found people are pretty understanding and I started being more assertive about distractions and my work life has improved a lot. I'm ADHD and getting derailed kills my productivity. People eating at their desks, approaching me the moment they need something, asking questions when the answers are available on SharePoint, etc.
Very cool post, thanks for sharing
