The drama got spicer and now I could be watching the equivalent of WW1 about to happen.

As for kitty, we had some tests done after and we got the test results back. We know what is wrong (it isn't that bad) and we are giving her something else that should help her. We will know if it works in a couple weeks.

Ok but thats worse. They never learned from it.

Its sad all the old malls, video game and movie stores here all died years ago. The younger generations arent going to be able to enjoy just roaming around a mall without being bothered by your parents every 2 milliseconds about where you are. You just roam around with your friends in the mall and around town mostly left alone to your own devices

It was my 37th birthday on Sunday. Went out for steak dinner, opened presents, got promoted to leader of the dumb mobile game clan I am part of. Finally got to see the political drama seething under the surface there as I am now part of the leadership chats and get to see the chat history. Looks like high school in there.

Had to take one of the cats to the vet, cost almost 200 dollars to be told they dont know whats wrong with her. But they had us try a new (prescription) food for her that might help.

When I was a kid, one of mine brought live snakes into my room that I would wake up to. They weren't dangerous but fuck I did not want to wake up to one coiled up between me and the door.

Ah yes the Mcdonalds effect. Objectively its greasy trash food but sometimes that's just what people want.

The worst used car i bought cost 2k to fix and 2k to buy. It lasted 5 years. I can do anecdotes too. I trust consumer reports actual data over my own experience and yours.

As for insurance, older cars are going to be cheaper because you should be liability only. Which you CANNOT do with a new car loan.

You wont know that before buying. Its just as likely if not more so that you buy the expensive version of something when the cheaper version would have been just fine.

This is usually not true. Consumer reports came to the conclusion that on average, older cars are cheaper than new ones to drive.

I think MEA's problem was mostly that it billed itself as a mass effect game. It feels to me to be more dragon age in space. If it had gone its own way instead of trying to tie itself to the main trilogy, it might have been better received.

I have an nvidia card too. As far as the graphics card driver not working, if you are running Ubuntu or something similar, the OS does not install all the dependencies for the graphics card driver correctly unless you force the installation of packages that were held back. And if you've made multiple attempts at this, you're probably going to need to remove the prior installation attempts first.

You fool! You own an nvidia card! The nouveau driver WILL result in 1/30th the fps that the proprietary card will if it works at all with vulkan.

In other words, it'd be fucking unplayable.

Also "it broke my system" is vague. What did you do and what was the exact result?
