Bipolar involves dysregulation of dopamine. Schizophrenia also involves dopamine but in a different way.

The fact that you dont seem to understand why trying to stop someone from "sticking a fork in a light socket" might be a good idea is concerning.

Funny but you dont put a tracking beacon on a ship full of people you are actually trying to kill. The storm troopers only became garbage shots when the actual objective wasn't to actually kill their targets but to let them lead the empire back to the rebels.

Its funnier if he disables safety protocols.

This is the sort of footage that comes up in the investigation of the latest holodeck tragedy where they investigate how 5 starfleet officers died a gruesome death and the ship has been taken over by a sapient stuffed animal.

Nah... if someone keeps trying to stick a fork in the light socket or tries to hurt other people, I think its pretty justified to try to change the thinking that leads to that behavior.

A lot of the advice in this thread is situationally good but this... is essentially universally bad advice.

What doesnt kill you now may still be a contributing factor later down the road.

First thing I would do is not give students graded homework/exams over spring break. What the hell did you expect OP? You dont respect them enough to let them have one week off unmolested.

Three things: one woman's "hint" is another woman's platonic behavior and "hints" are meant to be subtle so that they provide plausible deniability if there is no interest returned.

Dont blame us for not "getting" hints when part of the point is to be able to easily brush them off as not being signs of romantic interest. If you are interested in a dude, use your words.

And lastly, us not asking a woman out in response to her hints doesn't necessarily mean we didn't get the hints. It may just mean we aren't interested in that particular person and dont want to make it awkward.

Fighting games started in coin operated arcade cabinets that were intentionally designed to be such a pain in the ass to beat that people would dump heaps of money into them just to keep playing. Same deal with games that were released in the days that youd rent them for a week. The difficulty was set so high that it was very unlikely that you could beat the game in that week so you would end up renting them another week or two.

The gaming industry has been filled with greedy fuck policies from the beginning and the only thing that has changed is how they are greedy fucks.
