  • Sounds easy. Well, straight-forward, at least. For such things i use "zim" (a desktop wiki). Tangibles (like a motherboard) get a page that contains "links" to all the variables and components you want to track/index (the actual target pages don't actually have to exist). I would the drop that page in a hierarchy of containers (building, room, box, etc).

Organized this way, you can locate a tangible using any of the backlinks (like, by component), and reference the page path if you actually need to lay hands on it in the future. There is also a search feature, but i find myself using the backlinks for more frequently.

Also, by organizing the pages into a container hierarchy, it makes it easy to shift things around when physical things move (as all the sub-pages come along for the ride).

  • I guess... Until this image, I would have assumed that they just removed all NSFW images from their training data (making it impossible to generate such images), but it seems like they implemented it some other way; perhaps by examining the prompt [which mine was pretty tame] or by the resulting image [which maybe the gray skin threw it off].

  • That's an intriguing possibility, I had not thought of that!

Given the perfect focus at both extremes, and given that the boat lines on either side of the fish do not agree with each other, I'm assuming this image is AI-generated. The machines often have trouble keeping backgrounds consistent across a large interruption (like this fish).

But then again, the words on his shirt look sane.
