  • Regarding mobile phone choice you could always go all the way and get dumb phone. :D

  • Do you think Lemmy should act like Meta, which banned Pixelfed links and Mastodon instances?

  • It should get code from own repository and display for better effect :D

  • I guess they had better food back then.

  • When we used to order pizza in middle school, kids would fold the slices one on top of the other and eat them like a big sandwich. That was the most popular way to avoid questions about whether they would share it with others. Not to mention, most people snuck to the toilet for feasting.

  • Sorry, for bad cross posts, but it seems that I can't replace the original URL with new link to yewtu.be video and this is why I got 3 crosspots while trying to fix it.

  • What about destructible environment, physics, attention to details?

All what I see nowadays are mediocre products in flashy packaging. Consumers seem to prioritize aesthetics over quality; if a game is colorful and visually appealing, it often sells well. Whats up with freedom of jumping on that crate, blowing up that wall, shooting up the props etc.

At times, it feels as though I am confined within an enclosure, where the visuals and sounds serve merely to distract me from this realization.

    • Battlefield 4 / 1 / V - just campaigns. What I remember from playthroughs were nice graphics and cool sound effects.
    • Sniper Elite V2 Remastered - I have done it in few coop sessions with my brother. The ability to finish the full singleplayer campaign in coop is a great feature in games and this is what I look for nowadays.
    • Hellblade: Senua Sacrifice - quite repetitive mechanic, but for story lovers is very fun to sink in
    • Start Wars Battlefront II - similar opinion like for Battlefield series, singleplayer only for me
    • Superliminal - fun game concept
    • Layers of Fear 1&2/Blair Witch - I have rushed these games just for the sake of completion of my backlog titles.
    • The Stanley Parable - comedy gold, frustrating at times, quite short, but highly recommended classic
    • Aperture Desk Job - fun, interactive controller test game from Valve
    • Serious Sam: Double D XXL - classic platformer from Serious Same universe with funny gun upgrades mechanic, with no political correctness

    And some free short games/prologues:

    • Outpath: First Journey - relaxing, but kinda simplistic Minecraft wannabe game
    • Ale & Tale Tavern: First Pints - tavern manager game from first person view in medieval times
    • The Riftbreaker: Prologue - solid prologue for strategy game with robots and aliens
    • Helltaker - logic, rogue like game with nice humour
    • The Looker - play The Witness first to get the reference, because this game is a parody
    • Neon Beats - fun platformer, rhytm game
    • Clap Clap - short, horror game
    • Cats Hidden in Paris - find all cats on drawing type of game
  • It depends on how well it combines with your skin, natural scent I guess.

  • Im still fine with my Redmi 8 from 2018 too. Lineage OS updates keep popping up for my device.

  • Why bother about politics when everything is just a theater. People thinking that voting changes anything still amazes me.

Dont treat politics seriously. It will come one way or another to you in some shape or form. Focus on things which you really can improve/change/work on.
