  • I think driving like a nutjob and harassing people is already against the law though :)

  • I think a "small skyscraper" would be an easier to understand height.

  • Sorry bud but I'm not going to continue replying to you because of your condescending tone. Are you ok with that?

  • Yes I think they should just honor the contracts and make a tiny bit less profit.

They could even just add some sane limits if those were not present yet.

  • I only have this to say: Fuck the sky pollution. Starlink has been ruining stargazing and star photography and Elon lied about its impact. He claimed they would be invisible with his amazing paint but they're still visible and fuck it up for people who enjoy watching the stars.

  • Just legalize drugs and these cops would lose 90% of their abusive powers.

  • The people operating the company do not deserve to run it. Maybe they should declare bankruptcy and let somebody who will honor the contracts buy it.

Allowing this kind of anti-consumer behaviour just allows them to juggle the company around to get out of contracts.

  • My fake name got written up because I entered a protected nature park. I leave nature as I find it so I considered the "Not allowed to enter" sign authoritarian bullshit. When some guy caught us we gave fake names and he said we would get in trouble if we came back.

  • Just honor them and take the loss. The new owners did a bad deal. In many countries it would be highly illegal to cancel these contracts while continuing the business. Either liquidate the company or honor the deals. Fuck capitalism.

  • I have no idea, but the end users should not get fucked because the new owners didn't know what they were buying. In many countries it is illegal for the old owners to not let the new owners know of such things.

  • That has nothing to do with the end user. In such cases they should sue the original owners.

  • Mini fools mate

  • I feel you but it would be very suspicious for the CEO to magically find the correct decryption key when the whole company is offline. The more employees you have the harder it will be to do it silently. Plus it would stop most companies from doing so. So the few that would still do it are just dumb. Some countries already have this law afaik.

  • Well but their money should be accountable somewhere. You'd have to commit fraud to hide it.

  • It should be highly illegal to pay the ransomware gangs. And it shouldn't even be possible to move the money for it around.
