Emotional rollercoaster.

For a lot of people, especially young people, their phone is the only computer they have. For those folks streaming is often the only viable option.

My 2004 was the newest car I'd had when I bought it in 2018. I don't plan on ever buying anything newer.

And if you don't review your new documents very often, the auto-tagging and filtering options make it easy to just go through your inbox when you get a chance, knowing you didn't miss something.

My local single-screen theaters usually have little to no pre-roll ads. Some of them even have pizza and beer at a reasonable price.

That said, I watch most movies on my Plex server, from the comfort of my couch. The experience is harrd to beat.

So long as, in the absence of rules, everyone is treated the same. Major social media platforms swing hard right, meaning that leftist positions will be marginalized regardless of the rules or absence thereof.

Can confirm. I'm a bit older, but when I stopped using social media it was like my aquaintances forgot I existed. Sure, close friends would usually still invite me to social events, but even that tapered off after a while. When I'd call someone out for not inviting me, their response was always "but you never shiw up to anything". It's not like they don't know that I'm not on Facebook. What, you think that when you don't invite me that I'll just magically know it's happening? I'm finally getting some people to use Signal groups but that has been an uphill battle.

Oh damn. That was like a proper internet 2.0 kinda experience. A feller could get used to that.

This reminds me of how I often assume a lesser known brand is a "small player" in a given industry, only to later find out that they provide parts and/or services to all of the well known brands. Kinda like Mitsubishi in the 80's. Their parts and tech were in everything but their name was mostly associated with cheap electronics and small cars.

And the once or twice a year Epic offers a free game I actually want to play, I enjoy it just as much as if I'd bought it elsewhere.

I call bullshit. There are all kinds of awesome, successful, action games that don't fit this mold. This whole piece reads like it was placed by a high level exec that's preparing to lay off a bunch of graphic artists and devs.

Art > graphics, but this article sucks.
