  • I’m an apple user, but I really think the issue is being created by apple. They talked about doing iMessage on android and then someone else was like no we can’t we want people to be locked into their iPhone.

  • They talk about for the number of requests has grown as the number of users has. Previously they advised users to use their onion address.

Additionally they said the emails and other stuff is encrypted so it’s really just some meta data that is being handed over.

  • I just don’t want to be tied to an apple device to Message people who only have iMessage. I live outside of the US but all my family, friends, and contacts are there.

I feel locked into iOS as international texting and calls would be so expensive.

  • There have been a few instances where I was excited for the free games that came out.

One game they have given out a few times is called “Enter the Gungeon”

This is one of the best roguelite games I’ve ever played. I have hundreds of hours in this game.

Please play it for a while if you have not.

  • I’m playing the hd remaster on cemu. But info have my original wiiu, it’s just in a different country at the moment.

What’s the recommended way to play MM? I only ever played it on the 64, but I’m debating between the n64 app on the switch and the 3ds version through emulation.

  • I've only encountered problems with Peacock, but it's not officially offered where I live, so I have been OK with Netflix and Disney Plus.

I have never tried VR. I have issues with balance as it is and I am pretty sure VR would trigger balance problems, but thanks for pointing it out. For those who are interested.

  • Windows has been a pretty garbage os for years. Linux is so much better in many ways. The only thing windows has is a few applications that have yet to release a Linux version.

If we could get office, Adobe, and autocad on Linux, we could see droves of people switch.

Gaming is basically all set on Linux at this point. Just a few games that have not setup to work due to anti-cheat, but screw it. I don’t need them.

  • The average android user doesn't have the ability to use lineageos. None of the android phones in my home even have support. So its not really a fair to talk about lineage when comparing android to iOS.

I could be wrong, but doesn't lineageos have problems accessing banking apps since its missing some kind of DRM?

Maybe this I'd a solved issue at this point.

  • I'm all for letting servers choose what they want to ban and allow. Its easy enough to just create a new account on a different server if you do not agree with the server admins decisions.

That's the beauty of federation. The user can also setup his own instance to access the content if he wishes. He might have to learn how to do it, but its totally doable.
