  • The process to do so via political action was via impeachment and removal from office.

But they fucked that one up. So here we are.

I also agree with you it should carry a guilty verdict of some suitable crime, because other precedents would be ripe for abuse.

  • Completely agree with you, however if trump thought he would get more than 20k in returns on the 180k in principle he saved, this also is a good financial play.

That said, 200k is petty cash for a billionaire. Or should be, if one was.

  • Disagree. The States will find a way to tax the sale based on destination. The states can move to a different registration/property tax model to recapture the sales tax. See also online shopping sales tax changes.

It's entirely about lobbying by autodealer trade groups.

  • You're 100% right.

I think there's a few things to unpack that I find a bit personally conflicting. Firstly, I like the idea that in a world with perfect justice systems you can formally forgive someone for what they did. However, where it falls short is that once your sentence has been served there should be no further penalty from society (even though we know there is via job discrimination at a minimum).

What I also like is that there is a board to ensure pardons don't occur for cronies. Trump had examples, as did Clinton, among others. I think it could be a suitable if an executive has the power and the board can overturn.

What's distressing is your points, because justice is not perfect. What relief does someone have from an unjust law or malicious prosecution?

  • I mean it implies that you pay a premium for them to send someone around if you do it on a per case basis... or you can pay a flat fee. Theyre betting most people that subscribe at the flat fee will not have run up more than $100 in extra margin.

This seems reasonably justifiable, considering groceries is one of the shittiest margin businesses and labor isn't free.

  • When chrome was released, Firefox felt bloated visually and slow. I switched to chrome with the initial release, then tried to come back to Firefox some years later. Still felt like it was slow.

Im back trying it again. The desktop browser seems to work alright, but I'm growing weary of the Android app.
