  • Of course you’re allowed to your opinion. It’s the definition of a democratic and free country and I hope you vote if you haven’t already as does everyone else in the country.

I will say though that our healthcare was cratering years before this, but healthcare isn’t Federal, it’s provincial so it’s a very moot point. Blaming Trudeau for Doug Ford buffoonery on healthcare is not fair or right in the case of Ontario. It was the provincial cons that screwed us, but so did the libs and before then the real screw up were still battling to this day was the harris era, which was a con government.

The only thing I don’t want is it to be privatized or the amount of public dollars the provinces get reduced.

In the past I’ve voted for Harper for the first term, the NDP with Layton and even last time O’Toole over Trudeau.

I vote for who I align best with at the time. Had Trump not opened his mouth about Canada, and had I not read about Poilievre meeting with billionaire US medical organizations back in January, most likely my vote would be different.

Smith doesn’t sit well with me either and the fact that she’s a full on MAGAt and wants the cons to win to further her agenda is also bad.

I’ve never claimed the Liberals are good. I don’t think they really are. I think at this point with the orange Mussolini south of us, Carney has more options than Polievre to get us out of the mess, but who knows what happens once the next government is elected.

But don’t misconstrue my statement either. Were things different, neither one of the main parties would get my vote as I think they’re all vultures.

The liberals work for the big corps. The con work for the big corps. At the end of the day no matter which party wins, most of us loose.

I don’t think either platform is that mis aligned from each other.

For me, I think the saving grace is that neither party will have a majority so they can’t destroy the country as easily as if they had a runaway majority.

  • No. But I’m also not Ok with heavily defunding core services this country needs like healthcare, education, energy and infrastructure so it can be sold off to the highest bidder and privatized even more so than it already has been.

I don’t think the cons offer a single good thing to the general public. I don’t love the Liberals either, but they’re certainly less parasitic than PPs maple MAGAt platform.

Again, I’m ok with cutting waste where it can be cut, but not like the currently gutted system America currently loosing at.

I’m Canadian, and quite frankly American policies and politics can get right fucked. Keep it south of the border.

  • I'm all for streamlining government services and waste, but I vehemently oppose American MAGAt style cuts to services that Canadians rely on. Fuck that and fuck the cons. Lets hope those Trump sucking ball gaggers don't win this election.
