LGBT people were treated the same way, this is how it starts.

Police are investigating, but no arrests have been made.

They have surveillance footage and logs of so these people were from when they entered, surely. No arrests means they're choosing to not arrest.

One trans person does a school shooting and all school shootings are the fault of trans people existing, forever :(

Sounds like the exact kind of entitled, whiny man babies i was expecting.

People should use better sources and call out the ADL when it's used but they're right on this. This information predates their current madness.

The SPLC's information is, unfortunately, nowhere near as comprehensive but they also list it. As does Wikipedia.

Anyone using "Austria 88" knows exactly what they're doing. No way you put that together by chance.

Honestly it's looking increasingly likely but i'm still holding out hope.

Only one danger could have jeopardized this development – if our adversaries had understood its principle, established a clear understanding of our ideas, and not offered any resistance. Or, alternatively, if they had from the first day annihilated with the utmost brutality the nucleus of our new movement.

They could have fought then, we can fight now. It's getting a little late in the game, but i do not think it is too late.

It sucks how much people are ignoring this.

Getting sent to the camps might stop them.

This practice of appointing Republicans to critical positions to demonstrate bipartisanship has got to stop. (If the Dems ever get another chance, at least)

Honestly, this whole thing has been a fuck up.

If this guy could focus on what he's good at and keep his damn mouth shut he wouldn't be in this situation.

Their job was to demonstrate that they knew what was happening, had a plan to address it, and their plan was being blocked by politicians who had none of that. They didn't even try and i don't think they ever really wanted to. Same with Obama bailing out the banks and leaving the regular people with the bill during the financial crash of 2008. (That was in no small part Bush's fault, but he didn't even try something different.)

That is the only lesson they are ever capable of winning. If they win, it's because they were like the Republicans so they should be more like the Republicans. If they lose, ti's because they weren't like the Republicans enough.

The Democratic base, and i say this as someone who willingly voted straight D ticket and has for a long time, keeps trying to kick the football and the Democratic Party keeps yanking it back at the last second. Every time.

When it comes down to it, when they're forced to take a side, the centrists will always side with the fascists over the Left. We've seen that happen consistently.

Walz was great. They put him on a leash, though. Remember when he was going around calling the Republicans "weird" and they were freaking out about it?

(Edit: They're STILL not over this btw, Benny-boy "dry wife" Shapiro made a tweet after the election that went something like "We proved we're the normal ones after all".)

The people who voted for Trump do deserve the blame. In some sense, they deserve the biggest share of the blame. After all, they voted for him.

The Democratic Party failed us all, though. They also deserve a significant slice of blame.
