ChatGPT is mediocre in a silo. It has no context for distributed systems and will never compete with real developers. The benefit of ChatGPT is the time it will save a good developer from writing boilerplate. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyone who says otherwise is bitten by the bias bug.

Deodorant only masks the B/O scent for long enough for the wearer's nose to forget about it. The rest of us still smell it when you enter a room.

I was in high school in the mid 90s, and the primary focus of our economics class was balancing checkbooks type stuff. Definitely not loans, predatory interest rates, revolving credit, or anything else that would be remotely useful in today's economy.

That's how you know it's bullshit, because every major ad blocker allows you to disable per site. There's no need to uninstall. The claim that they're being uninstalled was written by uneducated propagandists.

So we're kids screaming in the backseat while drunk dad swerves and pervs. Not much we can do, despite our efforts.
