Kartoffel. Why is his hand mirrored? Is this the true power of the habsburg royal family?
Really? I can view posts with catbox images and have a recent post with a catbox image that other people could see :/ I remember reading some countries dislike catbox.moe so perhaps your DNS blocks them? Could you try temporarily switching to another DNS to see what happens?
EDIT:

Catbox.moe works pretty well, is free, not being monetized, and otherwise just really handy!
You can find the torrents on the project website, and then you use something like deluge to actually download the files.
Both please <3
Ah, I see! I was only disagreeing with the inclusion of authoritarian socialism, which in my mind is an oxymoron.
Democracy can take many shapes and I would argue anarchy must always be democratic as well, even if it is way more democratic than current systems.
Socialism doesn’t dictate a government structure
I disagree! Socialism by definition requires the people to own their own homes and the places where they work, which is difficult in a government not run by the people. Socialism must be democratic, anything else is just red fascism.
it can be via an authoritarian state that (claims to) represent the worker.
I may have been hasty, seems you agree! But I would like to stress that any government which claims to be socialist but makes unions illegal and enforces capitalism and private property shouldn't really get to call itself socialist or communist. They're just state capitalist oligarchies.
Norway is also capitalistic, but everyone is rich there. It's pretty good here, but not that good.
Wage inequality is way lower here in Norway than in most of the world, but it's unfortunately on the rise, in addition to right wing politics becoming increasingly prevalent. Things are good here because inequality was always low, and therefore unions could "win", unlike in the US where unions were successfully opposed by powerful corporations.
Norway is slowly becoming worse, but way slower than the rest of the world because unions and the welfare state stops foreign and domestic companies from exploiting us as much as they want to.
Not in this meme, but in the original. It implies that equality is not a good thing because surely the people calling for it haven't taken into account that everyone is different and has different needs. It shows equity as being the same situation but tailored for everyone's needs, and justice as being the same situation but with whatever created the inequality in the first place as having been removed.
My issue is that people don't use these words in this way, the people calling for equality always want to provide according to peoples needs, and to remove the things causing inequality.
I really really hate the original version of this meme. No one uses equality, equity, and justice to mean the things the meme implies >:|
True magic
I mean you could be a socialist. We have mainstream socialist parties here in Norway and that's certainly some ways away. But yeah, I was trying to be charitable since the point was to explain how it can be used as an insult rather than anything else :P
What is the purpose of this post? Discuss it in the previous meta post instead. It's not that old.
People who use liberal as a slur typically object to the capitalist and/or free market parts, or as an insult to people who support the status quo since liberalism is the ruling ideology of today.
While I am no fan of liberalism, the user you are replying to seems rather confused as this instance is fairly leftist, with the majority of users leaning left (this is my experience at least). Some leftists brand anything that goes against their warped version of socialism as liberal, which is what I'm guessing is happening here. That or they object to there being centrists here at all.
Q: Isn’t it really insensitive to point out a trans girls’ penis?
A: Depends on the person. Every trans person has different dysphorias.
Q: What’s with the thing of calling people trans+gender in the first place?
A: When done right it's only done where needed for context.
Q: I’m sure many people have good intentions, but it really feels like accidental mean behavior to spotlight something that should be between partners, doctors, and close friends/family who can be trusted keep reminding someone they were born into a body that felt wrong.
A: Many trans people (including myself) like the kind of humor in the meme (it's a meme, and not to be taken seriously). There is a clear difference between pointing out someones "bulge" irl and in this meme. Additionally, referencing someones genitals again is triggering for some and not at all for others, it's not always a secret or whatever.
There's another community here on blåhaj this could have been posted to instead where it might have been a better fit, but the reference to a bulge is not the point of the meme and is supposed to be somewhat empowering. Tucking and other practices are common for transfems (and some eventually do surgery), but some don't. Some people view attitudes like this as a way to break down gender stereotypes and be non-conforming, thinking they should be allowed to be this or that gender regardless of what bits they have.
EDIT: Also I should add you can be trans without dysphoria.
Leaving blahaj.zone and trans internet spaces in general.
I can't say I've seen behavior like Grails in any other trans space, but then I'm only in a few, and they're rather small and cozy. Most of the toxicity and drama I've seen on this instance hasn't revolved around gender identity and has rather been about us politics instead, but yes it has been rather tiresome. (I'm not saying this to invalidate your experience, I've just not experienced the same things or not experienced them the same way).
I wish you the very best as well!
Yes, but that's why I keep saying average user. Your average user mostly just browses the internet, casually plays games, and uses common software like word, with increasingly many apps/services being available online. Gamers who mess with drivers, the hardware, and bios settings and such are not really the norm. How many people in your life are afraid to touch the windows settings, if they even know where to find them?
Honestly most of the popularity of windows at home these days I'm willing to bet is because it's what's installed by default, and of course because of familiarity.
You're right of course that professionally you can't always replace windows, and while proton let's you play almost anything there are certain games that aren't available (usually because of anti-cheat). Most pc users however won't notice as they aren't gamers. I do also find that the settings and gui package managers on most distros are way more user-friendly than what you have on windows, which I think is another point in favour of using linux casually.
EDIT: Also most users don't have high-end machines, and linux pc's are nicer on the hardware and are less performance intensive which means their computers will be relevant for longer.
I blocked the community mostly because I didn't like the overly aggressive responses and the lack of any discussion around alternatives etc. but if things have changed since I blocked (which was shortly after it's inception) then that's good.
Oh yes, I forgot. I blocked them a while ago which is why I cant see them.
EDIT: I also find their presence here somewhat disappointing. They seem very focused on being polarizing and asking people to not vote biden rather than promoting any sort of alternative, in addition to being needlessly aggressive towards anyone who disagrees with them.
I think what they need is mods that live in other timezones
