  • on mobile use Aniyomi, which is a version of Tachiyomi.

    on PC use ani-cli. It's super easy and convenient to use. If you don't know terminals and stuff I would highly recommend you to learn the basics just in order to use it :)

  • Technically .NET Framework is now surpassed by just .NET, which is entirely FOSS. Modern C# is virtually fully FOSS. The basic dotnet CLI is open source too, and you'll always have mono.

    Microsoft obviously isn't making it easier. But I honestly haven't felt the need to use Visual Studio or any of Microsoft's proprietary tools.

  • Programming in Go is a blast. I love using the language and the ecosystem.

    But let me tell you, Google never made it any more enjoyable to use Go or to be part of its community. Quite the opposite.

    I wonder if we are somewhat close to straight up forking it or trying to create a different compiler, just so the community doesn't have to put up with Google anymore, or at least we begin to actually be heard.
