  • Throw some honey packets in there 🤌

  • No, the hierarchy supported by violence will still exist (they'll call them 'essential' and exempt from the shutdown), citizens will just have even less representation in how it's run

  • If you're implying we're making connections that don't exist the show creator David Shore has stated in interviews that Sherlock is a big part of the inspiration for the character

2008 interview, skip to 1:16 for the relevant part

  • I have a similar modest proposal to solving the wealth inequality hoarding problem of billionaires

  • Its Dr Sherlock, they just switched the coke for pills, Wilson is Watson, etc

  • It's not a legal black hole, it's illegal according to the constitution, and senators should be going there to take pictures and video to show the public what actually happens there.

  • FUD: increase fear, uncertainty, and doubt by spreading misinformation propaganda and undermining independent, fact based journalism.

It's the same tactic far right conservatives used against popular public progressive movements like the enlightenment, the hippies, corporate monopolies like IBM and Microsoft against open source, etc to divide the working class against themselves.

  • DEI, woke, urban, etc it is how they dog whistle the n word in public to fellow bigots and racists

  • Sublime text, vi, eclipse, emacs depending what I'm doing

  • Not the doo doo feces!

  • Even if it passed making piracy super extra illegal+ it's targeting google and cloud flare to block access to sites within 15 days that could still easily be reached outside their boundaries. It's political theater for mpaa riaa etc industry association lobbyists to show they got something for their bribes.

  • I've already had more than one conversation where people quote AI as if it were a source, like quoting google as a source. When I showed them how it can sometimes lie and explain it's not a primary source for anything I just get that blank stare like I have two heads.

  • Is common sense just an earlier, naive label for confirmation bias?

  • I'm curious what the counts would be like if you added up the articles that quote a CEO, a labor leader, and both.

  • I'm not that excited by deep skill trees or crafting or inventory management, lately i enjoy good movement, music, exploration, and story.

The movement in destiny 2 felt really good, similar games have it where you get momentum, dives, floating with warlock, etc. I think Titanfall 2 and borderlands 3 zane had similar really good feeling movement.

The exploration in pre planes EverQuest was great, fast travel limited to certain classes and levels, risky but faster travel routes in kunark, groups in overworld and dungeon areas, dangerous places to get to with high reward for the risk. Elder scrolls, dark souls/elden ring, and Zelda breath of the wild had similar feelings for me.

  • I've got a pair of vortex pok3r 60%'s that I've used daily for around a decade with no issues, each were under 100 USD, they might have inexpensive keyboards with the features you're looking for. Before that I used a keytronic that was built like a tank but not a mech.
