This got me to take my second run of the year thank you and blessed for the warm weather finally.
Also, runners are insane. I'm a runner I can say that with confidence. Some of them are more insane than others but the baseline is they are all insane.
I mean it sucks and I drink coke (it's my mix for booze) but it's a welcome change (price increase). Soda pop should not be drunk as frequently as it is by people and anything to make it less common is a welcome change IMHO. If becoming more cost prohibitive to people makes them drink it less that's not a bad thing
Now the challenge becomes, because America is becoming a 3rd world shithole it's possible that coke is the only safe drink because thanks to the EPA being gutted over decades water isn't safe in many areas due to contamination. That's not cool.
Don't mistake my pity with my wanting justice. There is no excuse for him being an insufferable asshole that has negatively impacted the lives of so many people.
I am simply stating that I understand him to be a small man and in that I have pity.
Yeah I get it. To many people they are past the pity phase. I struggled myself putting that. He is a broken man tearing the world down because deep down he is hurt. Hurt people hurt people.
I said this long ago on Lemmy. I pity him. He has nothing of value.
If shit hit the fan I have many around me who love me and want me to succeed. I have 3 kids who rely on me and love me deeply. I have coworkers who love me. I have family who love me. I also love all these people back immensely.
What he has is stuff. Stuff leaves you cold and empty inside. He has no one who loves him. He's probably a cold, cruel and heartless person when he's alone and I bet he's alone a lot. No one loves him for who he is.
Seriously he's the richest man in the world and he's so small. He deserves our pity nothing more.
They should but I'll go one further. Liability should be 100% with the auto manufacturers and car insurance should disappear or be drastically reduced assuming maintenance warranties are met. If I'm buying a FSD car I don't want any liabilities when it comes to safety.
Wearing my Ops hat (what I do for a living can't help it) have a few questions I'm more than happy to assist with depending on the answers.
What TZ are you in?
Are you open to volunteer support staff in other TZ?
What monitoring solutions are you using? Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
PagerDuty has a free tier do you have alerting and escalation setup?
Do you have run books on the associated issues that come up?
Could access be limited for a volunteer support staff?
I woke up just before 7am EDT and noticed the status page makes reference to PDT so I can only assume you're based out of BC. Given Canada has so many TZ it may be worthwhile investigating a more mature support model and give you some breathing room?
