I'm not disagreeing with you, but as my ex used to comment (she's Jewish and went to private Jewish school) their religion is very clear in explaining they are the chosen children of God.

Off the bat they are indoctrinated that they are better than all of us.

All I know is my children are less safe in the world because of what the state of Israel is doing and that disgusts me.

Same as with reddit. I so rarely down vote I can't even tell you the last time I did because like many of you don't do I understand the difference between disagreeing and not on topic.

My girlfriend is far more religious than I am. I have simply explained to her that God and I have a different relationship (we do) and that I do talk with Him regularly (I do) and He and I have a mutual understanding (we do). I still love my girlfriend. I know she would be beyond happy if I went to church and studied The Bible more but at the same time I think she respects where I am.

Why can't people be more like that is beyond me. That said, she's not American. There was a study done recently with the new Pope and apparently the results were that the majority of Americans get their religious opinions not from their church but from their TV.
