There's a reckoning coming with social media mark my words. I don't know when or how but it's going to reach a tipping point when the destruction is enough.

It is destroying families and communities not government, or science, or policies. People like Elon and Zuckerberg are sowing the seeds that are actively destroying the fabric of society.

True. Worth noting as bad as police are most countries outside of America actually have civilian oversight of the police. You can argue the effectiveness of it but it's lightyears ahead of the lack of training and corruption that America faces.

It would ultimately depend on the context but sure. "Innocent" Germans were put on trial post WW2 for enabling the system that resulted in the murder of millions of people, how is this any different?

I'm extremely content in life. It amazes me there are so many of you that just aren't happy existing. Every day is what you make of it and if you live life as glass half full no amount of milestones is going to fill it.

There is something to be said about simplicity. It can be as little as appreciating the sun on your face but you need to be open to appreciate it.

Life only has meaning when you give it meaning and the longer you hold off doing that then empty you shall remain.

And again, like a child, we lack the maturity as a species to understand that.

I am NOT a religious man but I'm a strong believer that we are so eager to play God we are forgetting to ask the important questions around if we should.

Personally speaking I think we need to pause on things like this, or AI as another example. We have proven repeatedly we lack the maturity as a species for what we are learning.

That said, you can't put everything back in Pandora's box so for everyone reading this sharing my concern, YOLO and cover your head and wait for the worst.

I'd argue Jackie Brown is also the movie that cements Tarantino's ability to craft a masterpiece. I really don't think there's a comparison to his other films because it's so opposite to his other films but my god it's a beautiful film.
