Dragon's breath is a pretty common name for incense scents, but it seems to vary a bit between different brands. The only common ingredient I saw was that most of them have musk or "white musk"
Vote in the primaries.
Vote for the winner who's least fascist.
Yell at them. A lot. Activism in the streets, calling your representative about pending legislation. Donations to organizing groups you agree with
There are multiple stages of the process you can get involved with. 1 vote every 4 years is not enough
I'm sure they'll do it in a way that's convenient and doesn't require 14 clicks through obnoxiously designed popups every single time you use a Google service. Yep, certainly no way this could go wrong.
General strike/protest? Get enough people making noise on the street and people will have to listen. With a presidential election coming up, Dems won't be able to fully ignore it either.
I always found it easier to basically automate the process as much as possible. "spend" every recurring expenditure and also set aside the most aggressive savings/investments possible using separate bill pay and savings accounts or buckets. Everything is taken out of the main account as soon as your paycheck hits, so it means everything you see on your spending account is a free dollar that you can use for fun or food.
Some people might operate better with a set amount for groceries too, but I personally found that too restrictive.
A good budget is one that you stick to, helps you achieve your goals, and crucially, allows you to enjoy your life to at least some extent. Whatever method works for you, it's important to give yourself permission to spend some money on fun. However small.
Yep, it's quite tempting. There are a lot of mini companies that sell .stl files so that you could make proxies for Warhammer armies or just make tons of cool display pieces. Small studios can even publish whole game systems online with just .stl and .pdf files.
The problem is just finding people to play them...
Do it! The characters make great display pieces even if they're not being used for anything. You can also try looking into 3d printed stuff, which is much cheaper, if you don't care about it being tournament legal or anything.
Increasingly, mini painting has been eating my life. I tried to fight off 40k obsession but it's been slowly pulling me in for a while now. But probably the weirder part is, I haven't actually played the game yet. Still trying to get everything tabletop ready.
Both of these arguments presuppose that principles and precedent are important factors for the current conservative majority to consider. Evidence says otherwise.
I've generally read that you should avoid brushing for about 30-60 minutes after eating anything, since the acidity of your mouth is elevated and that softens your teeth more than normal.
Insofar as there's a distinction between the two, I feel like you've got it switched. Merriment would be a night out with drinks and friends, whereas deep happiness would be more like contentedness with your life choices. But they're about the same. Plus "A Christmas Carol" uses Merry, and it's like the ultimate Christmas story.
I'd agree that people at the top of the party are cynical and mostly just want tax breaks and to keep government regulations away from their financial investments. Many of the voters do earnestly vote based on Christian nationalism (especially pro-life people) and fear of immigrants, though.
These voters have also been subjected to 20+ years of propaganda from right wing radio and TV networks. Have you ever subjected yourself to that shit? It's like a constant fear response.
My point is the voters at the bottom may not always have a consistent principled worldview, but they're not always acting cynically with their votes. Many of them really do believe this stuff.
It takes mental effort to defend a group, or to engage in good faith discussion at all, really. People tend to pick up on key buzzwords that get thrown around a lot by certain groups and use those to gauge whether the discussion is going to be worth continuing.
Concern-trolling and "I'm just asking questions" is quite common in these contexts, so both sides do this, to be honest.
Fun fact, there are 3 major power grids in the lower 48 united states': the Eastern Interconnection, Western Interconnection, and Texas.
