  • As far as we know, from what OP has told. But it doesn't really matter. The only thing that matters is that OP moves on. Both OP and this girl will be better off without this toxic interaction of theirs.

  • The algorithm is spot on.

  • Harsh truth for you bud. She doesn't like you and she probably hates you for trying to get her to like you. She treats you bad because you let her and keep coming back for more. Honestly, I'd hate anybody doing that with me. I'd lose all my respect for that person very fast. I think most people do. This is on you to accept it and get on with life. She's already made it clear that she's not interested in whatever you are hoping for.

  • The ethics of using AI to imitate art styles depend on several factors, including consent, attribution, and the impact on artists. Here are some key ethical considerations:

    1. Copyright and Intellectual Property

If an artist’s style is closely tied to their brand, AI-generated works that mimic their style could be seen as an infringement on their intellectual property.

Some jurisdictions recognize an artist’s style as protected under copyright or trademark law, though enforcement is complex.

    1. Consent and Fair Compensation

Ethical AI use should involve obtaining consent from living artists before training AI models on their work.

Some artists argue they should be compensated if their work contributes to an AI model that generates profitable art.

    1. Attribution and Transparency

If an AI-generated work is heavily inspired by a particular artist, should that artist be credited?

Transparency about AI-generated content helps prevent deception, ensuring audiences understand the origins of the work.

    1. Impact on Artists and the Art Market

AI-generated imitations could devalue original works by flooding the market with cheap alternatives.

Artists might lose commissions or struggle to compete with AI-driven automation.

    1. Cultural and Ethical Implications

Some styles have deep cultural or historical significance, and AI replication could risk cultural appropriation.

AI-generated art raises questions about authenticity and artistic intent—what makes art meaningful if it can be mechanically reproduced?

While AI can be a valuable tool for creativity, ethical use should prioritize respect for artists, transparency in creation, and consideration of the broader impact on the art world. What’s your take on this issue?

Edit; Oh boy people here can't take a silly joke. Oh well, bring on the downboats.

  • Sidenote, maybe some of your applications do not need a Linux computer but a microcontroller like an Arduino or a ESP32 is sufficient.

  • Let's not lose our heads

  • Technical platforms? Yes.

    Content platforms? No.

  • Similar story here. Tried some latest versions of popular distros. Settled with Fedora KDE. Fedora supported nearly everything in my convertible laptop out of the box where others were hit and miss. Easy transition from Windows 10. KDE doesn't enforce it's own opinions of desktop and workflow like Gnome does. Steam, Epic and GoG all play fine. It's my daily driver now. Much recommended.

  • What about getting policed by The Police?

  • That would be brilliant for a honey trap. The second server on the network switched the second l for an i. The third one has both.

  • You know, when the designer did something funny with it. Like elongating the end and making it into a giraffe.

  • Mint has not been the new kid for ten years plus. The first iterations of Mint was in 2006.

Mint is the kid that everybody likes despite not even sharing any interests.

  • Wendy O Williams was and will forever be the queen of anarcho punk rock.

Too bad she decided to leave, but it was her way to go.

  • Why is Lemmy drowning in off topic rage baits right now?

  • Yeah, "Fediverse Girl". Most lazy alias ever.

  • I knew an Italian exchange student that kept whining that nothing tasted good and nothing tasted as it should up here in Scandinavia. Then another exchange student (from Thailand I think) got tired of him and told him ~"the rest of the world isn't your mother" and it was a literal moment of realisation for this dude.

  • From my Xennial experience, some time in the 00s. Maybe because the wide spread (heh) availability of internet porn, but I don't really know. 90s were bushy. 00s was a transitional era and 10s and onwards are bald eagles everywhere.

(Personally I don't enjoy shaving my parts, I don't enjoy having shaved parts and I prefer lady parts with some trimmed carpeting rather than both desert dunes or wild djungles.)
