No - the last two decades have shown that just because you can't invent new stuff to solve, you can throw hardware at solving existing problems less efficiently. Yeah I fully expect a government mandated id system for all online platforms. Honestly this is my main fear of any kind of single payer system. It's not that the system can't work well - but that it is a single target for right wing assholes to destroy for the sole purpose of saying that system is bad because they can destroy it.

That's nice. But it won't keep me on Windows. I'm only using it in an airgapped environment for work development with IDEs that aren't available anywhere else. Not for anything else. Never for anything else.

No. I'm both curious and repulsed.

I tried the tinned stuff once and it was gaggingly bad. Not the nordic kind that will literally cause you and everyone in the room to vomit - but it really.... was not good. And I'm adventurous when it comes to food. Plus the fish was cut across, not in fillets, so it had the spinal bones which were difficult to eat around.
