The people working on LLMs also call it AI. Just that LLMs are a small subset in the AI research area. That is every LLM is AI but not every AI is an LLM.
Just look at the conference names the research is published in.
Good for you. And no, I am treating people offline and online pretty much the same.
You should reflect on your initial comment and how that set the tone for the conversation. You claim llama.cpp to not be open source. Well it is in every definition even if it depends on proprietary software. Which it does not necessarily need to as it is fully compilable without cuda, etc with just the CPU inference Backend.
Never used a computer algebra system? Like wolfram mathematica or sage math or maple? Then we have proof assisting software like coq and smt solvers like cvc5 or Z3.
This is all software that can solve real math problems in an easy way.
At the time of writing my comment I did not know about that other YouTuber and am glad I did not encounter them since.
That said I still think that video was not "hateful garbage". While I do not agree with everything she said, I do think she makes some valid points and in other parts she represents her subjective tastes in video games.
Guilt by association is not itself a fallacy in all cases but here I think it unfair to not engage with the actual topic at all. This just furthers division instead of finding common ground.
Yes. If you fail to market your ideas in that time then it's your fault. Don't hold back society due to your failure.
Your system makes even ideas capital which I strongly object to.
Another point of view: A company like Disney should not be able to have an almost perpetual monopoly on highly influential culture, like Star wars, etc.
No... The store bought lobster???
