  • You think people built entire highways just because they wanted the most inefficient and expensive way to screw over some deer? No fucking shit all this infrastructure is for driving.

  • dumb watch. I really just need a quick glance at the time and date mostly when I can't (or don't want to) whip my phone out.

No batteries, kinetic powered, waterproof, cheap.

Some smartwatches have features I might be interested in (offline GPS tracking) but not at the price I'm willing to pay. Still waiting for prices to drop more.

And aside from Garmins and other high end dedicated expedition/marathon watches, everything else's battery life just seems like crap. Like if I ever leave home for a single night I'll have to pack a charger? That's terrible.

  • Yeah, Voodoo back then was super expensive but they were quality at least. High end paint jobs and custom watercooling (in an era when AIO watercoolers didn't exist). Definitely something to lust after.

Now it's another crappy name slapped onto a crappy HP

  • Yes? That's basically what the initial 5 cofounders/investors did. Start hiring people and managing the company. They basically formed the board of directors.

I know you're desperate to paint Musk in a bad light in any way possible, but how do you pretend that Musk just handed over cash and did nothing else while other people are calling him a micromanaging control freak?

  • no, it's still a shitty mouse. You can't hold one button down and click the other (imaging trying to aim/shoot a rifle in CoD)

Last time I touched a magic mouse, it couldn't register which finger was clicking if you just let your fingers rest naturally on the mouse. i.e. you had to lift the opposite finger off the mouse to click left/right. Have they fixed that?
