I like puting my prototype code in namespaces like "garbage" "trash" "throwaway" etc to emphasize how unfit for production. I've no concrete evidence of it's success, but I like to think it dissuades other team members from using it where they shouldn't.

JanSport backpacks. My wife had the zipper wear out on the backpack she has had for ~20 years. She contacted the manufacturer. They don't make that particular bag anymore so they just sent her a comparable equivalent with almost no questions asked.

It's a bit of a forced joke, but whenever possible, I like to use "X-crete" as the verb to replace "tweet".

She's willing to go camping and will ask me to 3d print stuff for her, but doesn't really have much interest in being more involved in that.

Generally speaking, she is supportive of all me doing all of these hobbies, just not interested herself.

RC cars, amateur radio, sailing, 3d printing, cooking/baking, sewing, camping...probably more.

I'd say my kid has a mild interest in some of these, but probably wouldn't if I wasn't also doing it. My wife and I mostly just watch tv together.
