If I'm being honest, I can handle an ad in my pause menu as long as it doesn't interfere with the rest of operating the device. If I can unpause and reach the closed captioning or audio menu, fine, whatever. What really gets my goat is pre-roll and mid-roll ads. Can't stand them.
If we get Trump in again, I wouldn't put money down betting on us getting another Democratic president ever. Which is why I'm really hoping he listens to the criticism and gets his shit together. And if he gets his shit together, I'm hoping people are willing to allow themselves to be won over. If we just stay mad cause he didn't do something sooner/enough, we are also fucked.
There are too many potential paths in which we are fucked for my comfort.
And I suspect a non-trivial number of young voters are going to be disappointed and less motivated to get out and vote. If democracy and Western Liberalism™ really is on the ballot this year, Biden and the democrats need to be a lot more careful about alienating voters.
Usually any ideological overlap I have with the GOP is made in bath faith on their part. That, or the reason they arrive at the "right" conclusion involves reasoning much different than my own.
But hey, sometimes you just gotta take the win in life.
He probably knows all that. Normally all the minority party can do is force these people to state things things out loud and on the record. Besides, things have to be put simply like this because most people put so little thought into what stuff like this means. They have no idea what the legal system is like or how it can be used against them because they just don't pay attention. That's its own problem.
The point of federation is to connect different servers. Lemmy is not one website. It is many different websites that happen to share data. A link being posted to multiple websites is fine.
Maybe if you're seeing too many duplicate links, you're subscribed to too many duplicate magazines/subs/servers.
Would be nice if their license changes for this one to something a little more FOSS-ish. Not a huge fan of usage restrictions.
That being said, I wonder how it will compare to Mistral. I've been using the Mistral-7B-Instruct-v0.2 and have been absolutely blown away by its capabilities for its size. Makes me wonder how much more we can squeeze out of these smaller models.
Actually, it doesn't say anything about parameter size other than a guess. I hope they keep making these smaller models, though.
Probably, but that assumes that the transcribers went from video to video following the algorithm. I'd suspect that they would randomize the videos they chose somehow figured out some other distribution.
I'm still salty that we never got a proper sequel to the original Prey.
