  • If the Federal Government doesn’t want to be responsible for anything, why even be a country? Each state be their own I guess /s

Also are they going to reduce taxes for all the cuts? Doubt it, but states would have to make increases to cover all the new work.

we live in the dumbest timeline.

  • I don’t mind. I work on Commercial Real Estate loans.

KC, Dallas, and Miami have a lot of companies in this industry. Over the years, they branch off or get bought out, move two miles down the road and start another company.

If you or someone you know is looking for work in that field, DM me. :)

  • Spaz is short for spastic. There are a variety of disabilities that have spastic symptoms, such as Spastic Diplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy.

It gained popularity as an insult in the 60s.

  • I do preorder digital games but not just anything I’m excited about. It has to come from a single dev or small dev team that I specifically want to support, and help fund their progress. In this example, I’d preorder Haunted Chocolatier by ConceredApe (dev behind Stardew Valley).

OR, if the game is made by studio with a stellar track record or an absolutely phenomenal game. These more rare but their are a few. These also need to treat their dev team and customers well. No crunch. No shady micro-transactions.

For example, Hades 2 is something I would consider preordering. The next game by Larian Studios might also be on that list.

  • Happened to me. I’ve had both. Companies that say they’ll never do ask for that and companies that use a texted code to verify you over the phone or even in a helper chat. (I think Apple might even do it but I haven’t used their help in awhile)

So when I got a call from a number that was spoofing a payment app’s info, i didn’t think much of it when they asked for a code. But as soon as I said it, I knew I fucked up since I didn’t initiate the call. They tried to buy $500 gift cards with it but because I realized it so quickly I was able to get it stopped by the real company and my bank.

I genuinely think I’m pretty good at recognizing scams and have a high “tech IQ” but they got me here.

I always tell people this story so they know it really can happen to anyone, no matter how good you might be. I don’t want anyone to be embarrassed about getting help when it happens to them.

  • This seems like an unnecessarily cruel opinion. It seems shortsighted to wish illness on people trying to do better when the odds are against them.

If you want to turn these states blue, you can’t celebrate kill off all the blue voters. In fact, the US House district this is happening in, flipped a red seat blue in 2018.
