Grayjay started shitting the bed on me recently (Android via Samsung and Graphene, and on Desktop Linux/Windows) unless I disable vpn.

Even with Agent andDNS whitelisting for the apps.

A bit of a bummer after recently donating.

I think its kinda nice we have a shit poster filling my feed with recycled memes.

Sure beats the usual spate of climate crisis, muskiness, and Palastenian genocide.

To each their own I suppose, but filters can be your friend.

I grew up waiting tables in the late 90's - early 00's. The state I was in had a mandatory 8% tax claim on total sales for the day. So if you did $2000 in food / liquor sales, you had to claim $160 in additional, taxable wages within the time keeping system at the end of your shift. We also received a base wage that was equivalent to the state minimum wage at the time.

Based on my experiences working everywhere from small chaim restaraunts in mill towns to hipster bars in metropolitan areas, that 5-10% was pretty accurate.

However, there were usually one or two anomalies every shift that meant you'd clear an overall net closer to 20% for the day.

The smart ones budgeted around a 0% take home and treated their tips as a supplement, the rest of us lived together so rent was cheap enough we could still waste our money on drinking and partying after shift.

While I somewhat agree, my key (pun intended) inference was that they've offered the key caps as a standalone purchase for quite some time and I don't think those are selling well so now you can get a bundle with a board to help move stock. The opposing point being there are likely boards that are superior in a similar price range you could combine with the standalones.

If you're a lotr fan this very likely doesn't matter.

Feels like they've had a hard time selling these caps so now they're bundling them with a mid board.

Not sure there's any value here unless the price drops.

The guides are pretty solid. The one that sometimes holds people up is ensuring you have a post-roll playout for the channel. I forgot that when going making new channels after a few months of initial config and it caused issues with channels rendering properly downstream.

Yup. It's easy to setup the tuner in JF. We use Plex and Jellyfin frontends without issue.

I can second this. Been running Ersatz for about 6 months now after getting endless frustration with Disque. Currently have 7 channels configured, upwards of 2 to 3 active at any given point.

One of the things that seems to help with not dropping streams as much is configuring it to treat your media shares as local to ersatz. I had tried mirroring my Disque setup with Plex managing the libraries via Plex Playlists and it was sloppy and dropped a lot between episodes/media.

Anyways, +1 for Ersatz.

Sounds like a cultural expectation of accountability to me. Living in a country that is the complete opposite, I can respect having a national sense of everyone should be doing the right thing and if you're suspected of not doing so, you need to have the character to prove it thoroughly.

Unfortunately my external users don't have access to my jellyfin instance. Which is unfortunate because I enjoy it way more for Ersatz channels than I do Plex

Thank you for the suggestion! I could try and see if my user pool would give that a shot but, I have some pretty tech illiterate people using my services.

My partner has embraced overseer though so it's been a win in the acceptance stack in that regard. . since they don't use Discord

I like to think of it as the boomers have reverse mortgaged the country.

Not exactly an answer to your question, but, I use this as a go between on Android for all links (set as default browser) and don't experience the noted issue.
