  • I agree. You hit all of the points that I felt the game fell short.

The castle was beautiful, but we didn't spend rough time in it. Much of the open world felt like filler and it just wasn't as enjoyable to be in.

The combat felt out of place in this game. Having a student running around killing people should not have been as normalized as it was. I think a focus on more non combat magic would have worked better. Some combat would be OK, but it should have been far rarer.

  • Perhaps a compose file on the raspberry pi. You can have it build the container as part of the compose file, then you can just start your services up with docker-compose up -d --build. The only things you would need to do is update the git repos and rerun the up command. You could also script it to pull the git repos before building.

  • Flatpost is enabled by default on Nobara 42, and Flatpaks are the preferred way for users to install software on Nobara, but users can still use app images or install any other app store if they like.

Is this true? Nobara has the advantage that it uses dnf as the underlying package manager, so you can install things normally. GE has even taken time previously to modify some of the rpms to apply fixes.

  • Unfortunately those that believe in their ideology will keep having kids. As an anecdote, my Trump loving cousins have a total of 18 kids compared to the total of 2 for those that aren't. Most of those kids will go on to follow their parents political and ideological beliefs.

  • I'm a US citizen, I had no issues when I returned a few weeks ago, just a few basic questions.

My wife, a CA citizen, US green card holder just returned to the country. She was driving back, and she had more questions and searches.

She had our dogs with her, and she had the rabies vaccines as required. They did search through her stuff a little, as she was bringing quite a bit back from Canada.

  • While Canada continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to international press freedom protections and practices, there is more room for progress, particularly with regards to press coverage involving the rights of Indigenous peoples and land disputes.

So Canada has a lower index because indigenous people aren't getting coverage? Unless the government is putting pressure on journalists to avoid covering those topics, I do not see how that hurts the freedom of press.

Also, no surprise that the US has dropped.

  • Elon Musk could have been remembered as a cool tech guy. All he had to do was just keep running his companies and let the smart people working for him do the talking. Nobody would be the wiser that he didn’t know what he was talking about.

Instead, he let his ego get in the way of things and people know him for who he really is. I used to think he was pretty smart. After reading the things he writes, it became apparent that his companies thrive despite him, not because of him.
