  • Me too. I don't see the point. My life is already full of distractions and I bet the batteries in those are hard to replace when they inevitably don't hold charge any more.

    Buy g-shock, know time. Good.

  • The writing style is a bit weird, but I think the concerns are valid. That sqlite file is a treasure trove for hackers/scammers.

  • Which sites? Been using Firefox since forever and all is well.

  • Good to see a list not containing just the obvious stuff.

I've read about a third of this list, and the others sound good.

The only one I'm not sure about is flatland.

  • ....ab....ou...ayb...oo....trousers?

  • Or is it the OpenBSD firewall, pf?

  • Why do people still use Google search? I switched years ago. It was easy. I don't regret.

  • Ah, a zoom emulator. Why didn't you say?

  • Never heard of this language, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to write a correct and portable shell script.

Personally, I'd break out python once the script gets larger than a few lines, or rust if I want something more proper.

  • I have that sticker on my laptop :)

  • RunBSD

  • And so the enshitification continues...

  • Can we have removable batteries again now?

  • Come to think of it, why do they even call this use case a VPN? I'd call that a proxy.

  • What the hell is this? Half way down the page it becomes a crypto advert...
