  • Same. I use furefox for everything* at work, despite everything being heavily integrated with teams, sharepoint, et.al.

*: The only thing that doesn't work with firefox is this inhouse web service that hasn't been updated since 2017. It's about to be replaced anyway, so nobody bothered to fix/update it.

  • I'm originally a FreeBSD guy since 1998, but eventually migrated to linux some time around 2008. I've been through many distros, liked most of them (especially Gentoo, as its package syatem is similar to that of FreeBSD), but my main desktop OS today is Mint.

  • I used to use firstname@lastname.com (The benefits of having a rare last name), but I found that the work behind managing the email server myself wasn't worth it. I could probably have outsourced the hosting and spam filtering to Google or the likes, but then I might as well use my lastname@gmail.com address.

  • Who holds the burden of proof, though? Will the doctor have to prove that his choice was done in good faith to claim that his procedure was lawful, or will a prosecution have to prove bad fath? It might seem like semantics, but I bet a lot of doctors will be risk averse if they hold the burden of proof.

  • This. When my favourite floppies started to have a worn sleeve (especially 3.5", where that metal protective covers started to bend out a bit, threatening to jam in the drive), I usually transplanted the disk itself over to a new sleeve.
