Oh, I did play Oxenfree! Heh, until you described it like you did I never thought of it as a horror game, but you are absolutely right, it is pretty creepy!
Thanks for recommending Signalis, I will check it out
I just bought a NDS lite recently and have been looking for some off the beaten path games. I am surprised that the chibi robo games is so bad since the series seems to have quite a fanbase.
Sorry I didn't see your comment sooner. I am not very good at explaining myself but I'll try: I think it was a point in gaming where the PS2 was capable enough so that they were able to put the artistic vision first, instead of looking at the platform first (i.e. SNES) and then designing the best game for the system.
I would also tend to agree that it can be tedious. On the other hand it is one of the first games where a lot of things seem to have been conscious design choices which the developer would make even if they were designing the game in 2023. So it is hard to say if it is a 'good game'. I agree with you.
I am very excited about my upcoming holiday. I will finalmy be able to play Metroid Dread in peace. Ever since I played Hollow Knight I've been dying to get into a similar game.
I actually see that there is a lot of potential for a high quality sub because the posters seem to contribute often, and with intelligrnt content. Will try to post more myself, I love patient gaming
I am not a big Souls fan but I loved Sekiro! It was great nit having to manage a wide arsenal of weapons. Not to mention the amazing atmosphere, I think people who love Japanese mythology would all enjoy this gem.
This looks great! It's not too retro at all!
