  • Yes, just trying to say the years can actually be felt, and it's an almost unfair advantage, but fantastic for users. Also yes, it's indeed a full replica with all the features of Sync for Reddit, incredible for day one. Boost will probably have similar advantages.

  • Settings, Comments, Style, "Show colorful comment indents".

  • After ship "mysteriously" sinks: "The vessel died of suicide after shooting itself twice in the back of the head, and then falling off a tall building." - Russia, probably

  • Exactly. I don't think many of the people who are claiming Sync is no better than others have actually used and thoroughly explored Sync, even for Reddit.

The customization options are incredible. Beautiful UI. Backup options. Filters. Settings that are fine tuned, and separate per account. It feels like years of work and polish, compared to weeks or months for others. Others work fine (fan of Liftoff), getting better, but I'm blown away with Dawson and Sync. The "ad outrage" is disappointing and silly to me at this stage (literally day one).

  • Also, lemmygrad.ml (deranged Putin employees and simps seem to gather there and troll news). Fantastic, added to blocked instances (assuming the function works yet).

  • Yes. The FTC and other government agencies will lose all important cases against big businesses. Or they will be stripped of any power that matters. Our completely legitimate supreme court will be happy to rule their powers unconstitutional. (M*** is gunning for the SEC now.) Or we find ourselves with a president that instantly installs stooges with no intent on doing their job (like T****'s dog Mulvaney and CFPB).

I'm still proud that we have people like Khan willing to spend their (life)time fighting against obvious wrongs, or even just trying to enforce our laws against oligarchs. I just think any wins are temporary miracles until the cancer is obliterated. (At the polls!?)

  • I see that Threads / Meta is welcoming them with open arms. (Anything for those sweet new user numbers!) Poor moderation seems to attract the worst and most miserable of society. Reddit will also be infested soon.

At least those garbage dumps keep all the freeze peaches in the honey pot, but I do feel bad for the sane people who accidentally wander inside.

  • Welcome to Liftoff!

  • Liftoff is by far the best Lemmy app I've tried on Android. The UI is beautiful, and doesn't feel generic like others. Seems quite stable. Now available on Play Store. I'm really enjoying it!
