My take on it is that the Republicans will do their best to drag this out until the election. No compromising or middle ground. Just make it out to be the crazy Democrats fault. This stuff gets to be very predictable after all these years.
Just wait till the first security vulnerability are discovered in the code that now will be able to run on iOS and which Apple can't control directly. Nobody will remember that the cause was forcing Apple to open up their system. They will just blame Apple.
I really try not to judge on these topics. If I can somehow justify they’re not relevant to the job.
If you’re a religious person with a suppose, moral compass, when Trump cheated on his pregnant wife, with essentially a prostitute, doesn’t that raise all kinds of red flags? I don’t know. Honestly I’m just asking. I don’t go to church and I’m essentially agnostic but my moral compass makes me run the other direction when I see something like that.
I have never been able to wrap my head around voting for somebody that supposedly supports policies you agree with while being clearly a bad person/leader to the core.
I wondered the same thing. These agencies want to be seen as hip and with the times. It’s leadership is always thinking about their next gig in the private sector they claim to regulate.
Yeah, let's defederate from a major player that wants to participate in the decentralized nature of this protocol. That way we further fragment Mastodon and guarantee its failure in the long run! Good call!!!
Oh, the whole sheep argument is silly. iMessage is better than RCS, and I don't blame any Apple user for wanting to stay within iMessage if possible. It's not Apple's fault that Google took forever to get their act together in the messaging space.
When I see people criticize something they have clearly not used I get motivated to try it.
