Kind of. In the past investors were willing to be more patient, and company values were artificially high, because they were based on potential profits rather than actual profits. That's shifting a bit as interest rates go up.

Exactly. They should take this as the warning it is, and start work on moving to an engine not run by morons.

I can get a decent windows or linux laptop for like $500. Each of the last two I got were in the $400 range, and they are still in use 3 and 5 years later. Plus I can easily upgrade the ram and ssd on those to further extend the lifespan.

The issue isn't the ending itself, it's how they got there. They rushed the ending, and as a result it made no sense.

Definitely not standardized. Some brands aren't even consistent between different items they make.

My first few hours weren't fun, and I nearly stopped playing. It started getting fun when I abandoned the main quest and went out on my own.

I told my wife I'd have been thrilled to get this game in 2016. In 2023 it does feel dated though, If they don't update the engine significantly before their next game it may actually hurt sales.

I've had my Shark Navigator Pro for over a decade, the thing is a tank. If it died tomorrow I would instantly buy another one.

I know they don't want to switch, but it would be worth it to make the swap to something like unreal, even if it takes a few years of customization to get the open world stuff right. Creation Engine just feels so old.

It's system by system, I have the same cpu and do fairly well, admittedly with it boosting to 4.5ghz. My wife has the same cpu and it struggles on her machine. It feels like the game just wasn't tested well.

lol, no they didn't. They didn't even test adequately, more than a few GPUs that meet the requirements didn't work when early access launched.

That's the issue though. If you banned guns tomorrow, how do you get them all out of private hands? Send the National Guard door to door to search the whole country? People would hide their guns or lose them in the lake within 5 minutes of the first search. We desperately need to do something, but any solution will be difficult due to the overwhelming number of guns just floating around.
